The Right Power Source

The power system in your car starts and ends with the battery. That being said it's one of the parts that people try to be very frugal with. There are several reasons to get a quality battery from the length of service life to just being more reliable and dependable. Their is an old saying that price doesn't always mean quality but you can't have quality without some price. A battery is a constant chemical reaction that produces electricity to power your car. As a result if not properly made they can do things like catch on fire and explode. If this ever happens to your car battery you need to immediately, after the fire is out, neutralize the battery acid that has sprayed all your engine compartment. Neutralizing can be done a few ways, but the least expensive is making up a solution of baking soda and water and cleaning the engine compartment with it. Make sure next time you buy a battery it has good product reviews and a reputable brand name. You can't make every battery perfectly but spending a few bucks more on a quality part can save you from having issues down the road.
